Munich, Germany – November 10, 2023 – intive, a leader in digital transformation and software innovation, announced today the appointment of Diego Rubio as Chief Executive Officer, effective November 6, 2023. He will succeed Gurdeep Grewal, who has stepped down after four years of distinguished service.
Rubio, a dynamic leader within the tech industry, has been a part of intive since November 2021, following the acquisition of SimTlix, a company he founded and led as CEO. He has since served as an advisor to the board and played a pivotal role in the integration of intive’s operations throughout the Americas.

Rubio’s distinguished career includes notable tenures at global tech giants such as Motorola and Google, complemented by his academic contributions as a professor and researcher at UTN (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional) in Argentina. This unique blend of corporate and academic experience equips him with unparalleled insight into the technological challenges and opportunities facing today’s businesses.

Diego Rubio is originally an Information Systems Engineer, graduating from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional of Córdoba, and holds a master’s degree in software engineering from the Universidad Nacional of La Plata. Rubio is a family man, married with two children and outside of his professional life, he is an avid sports enthusiast, with a passion for golf, padel, and football.
